Featured Product - MICROXYME GT (Bio Blocks)

MICROXYME GT (Bio Blocks)

Invented by Ken Cline and patented in 1999, this solid bacteria block consists of naturally occurring microbes that are designed to remediate fats, oils, starches and organic materials. The microbial cultures contain selective facultative bacterial stands and naturally occurring enzymes that work in both aerobic and anaerobic environments. It is effective in areas of both high and low flow areas and reduces BOD’s, COD’s, TSS’s and FOG’s.

Great for lift stations!

We hold patents in the area of bioremediation; these patents cover a variety of application in solid waste management and include grease traps, lift stations, treatment lagoons and waste ponds.
Our slow-dissolve Microxyme Bio-Blocks are a simple, effective way to control and break down the accumulation of fats, oils and greases (FOG) in a grease trap.  These blocks slowly dissolve and release grease digesting bacteria that help reduce pump outs and control odors.
Add 1-2 of the 1-pound or 2-pound block(s), per 250 - 500 gallons of grease trap capacity, every 4 weeks, depending on the exact size of the grease trap, the water flow through the trap, and the amount of grease load coming into the trap.  Adjust accordingly.  Simply suspend each block from a rope and tie it off so that the block remains completely submerged in the grease trap’s water at all times. Avoid letting the block sink to the very bottom of the grease trap, where it can become caked with grease and unable to dissolve properly.
